For as long as I can remember I have loved spending time outdoors. Throughout my life this has taken many different forms, giving me a broad appreciation of many different kinds of adventure sports. Now, I want to share my knowledge and appreciation of the outdoors with others.
I frequently achieve this through my involvement with Girl Guides, by organizing hikes, camps, backpacking trips, and other outdoor events that are designed to get girls outside and active. Moving forward I want to bring the programs I have designed and perfected in Guides to families and other demographics that are interested in these services. I also want to create and run new programs to introduce people to the lovely world of whitewater and rivers.
Recently I have become captivated by rivers and have spent as much time as possible on a boat. I enjoy kayaking and rafting, and have worked as a safety kayaker and raft guide this past summer. Along with guiding skills, I offer swiftwater safety skills as I hold Swiftwater Rescue Specialist certification from Rescue Canada.
Finally, I am proficient with Adobe photo editing software including Photoshop, Lightroom, and Illustrator. I offer photo retouching, editing, digital art/designing, and RAW processing services.
